GB3AG

GB3AG, the Angus Glens repeater, came into operation in January 1997 due to the efforts of the members of the Strathmore & District Amateur Radio Club and the Central Scotland FM Group.  Operated for many years by club member, Pete GM1CMF who financed it out of his own pocket, the club decided that it would help by sponsoring this important local amateur radio facility. Sadly Pete recently passed away and the repeater is now under the care of Gary MM0XET who is now the repeater keeper, in accordance with Pete's wishes.

It is sited in the Sidlaw Hills mid-way between Forfar and Dundee.  It provides mobile coverage throughout the County of Angus, as well as NE Fife, Dundee and the eastern edges of Perthshire.

Please be aware the CW Repeater ID is only transmitted every 15 minutes when on FM Simplex.   On digital mode the Repeater ID is played on connecting.
