The next 145 Alive event will take place on Saturday 12 April 2025 between 12 noon-3 pm and Dundee Amateur Radio Club will be controlling the Net for the East of Scotland in IO86 grid. This event is designed to encourage people to use the Amateur Radio VHF bands. All licensed amateurs are encouraged to participate and everyone is more than welcome to drop by and meet us at Monikie. The next NARSA (Northern Amateur Radio Societies Association) Rally is on Sunday 13 April 2025 at the Norbreck Hotel, Blackpool, with the doors opening at 10:30am. Dundee Amateur Radio Club will be there, so pop along for a chat!
The SOS event takes place annually between 1 May and 31 May. Dundee Amateur Radio Club participates in the SOS event, so check back here nearer the time for details. Click here to find out more details of the event.
Dundee Amateur Radio Club has operated from Glamis Castle participating in the annual Glamis Extravaganza. DARC used this event is to promote public awareness of amateur radio and to foster International goodwill. Further details are available here.
