This is Olive, she is six years old and is a black Labrador Retriever.  She is a Guide Dogs Scotland Guide Dog and has been paired with one of Dundee Amateur Radio Clubs long standing members, Kevin (MM0TMG).  Olive has been with Kevin for four years and accompanies him to all Dundee ARC meetings.

Recently whilst out on a walk, Olive suddenly turned to guide Kevin home and started walking at a faster pace than normal, urging Kevin to get home.  Once home, Kevin started to have pains in his arm and felt drowsy, however, Olive would not let him rest and was actively trying to keep Kevin awake.  Kevin suffered a heart attack and it is believed that Olive was trying to keep him awake and warn him.  Kevin is now recovering and describes Olive as 'a keeper'.
