In 2023 Dundee Amateur Radio Club was at Glamis Castle participating in the annual Glamis Extravaganza. DARC will use this event is to promote public awareness of amateur radio and to foster International goodwill.
Dundee Amateur Radio Club will be operating as GS4AAF both on HF (worldwide) and VHF (more localised) stations. If you have an interest in Amateur radio, pop along for a chat. The hobby is so much more than just talking on a radio. One of the conditions of being licensed is that you may experiment with radio and we have members who talk with the International Space Station, talk to people via satellites, transmit and receive slow scan TV, use CW (morse code), use digital modes such as FT8, and much, much more. Many members build their own equipment and we hope to have examples on display.
Keep checking back here for updates.
